PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) is known for its'
combination of chemical resistance and toughness. PVDF
is highly resistant to oxidizers and halogens with nearly
complete resistance to aliphatics, aromatics, chlorinated
solvents, and alcohol. PVDF resists most bases and acids,
except fuming sulfuric. It is thermally stable, mechanically
strong, and possesses high dielectric properties. PVDF
is self extinguishing, non toxic, and is resistant to
UV and gamma rays.
