PVC provides excellent performance at an economical price. With excellent chemical resistance, even to strong acids and alkalies, combined with dimensional stability and low water absorbtion and weather resistance, PVC has found widespread use in fluid handling applications. PVC does not however possesses good heat resistance and wear properties. CPVC adds additional heat resistance with a continuous service temperature of 230°F. PVC & CPVC are commonly used for tanks & liners, pump & valve parts, guards, guides and troughs.
