PET is an unreinforced, semicrystalline thermoplastic polyester derived from
polyethylene terephthalate. PET combines excellent wear-resistance, low water absorbtion, high flexular modulus and superior dimensional stability. It's low coefficient of friction and moisture resistance leads to many applications in food handling machinery. It's electrical properties and mechanical strength are virtually uneffected by ambient moisture.
